I am reaching out to see if I can receive some assistance on customizing the Step-by-step Booking Form 2.0.
We are a law firm, so we have specific questions we want to add to the booking form, as well as remove some of the steps from the booking form that are in the default booking form when you first start.
For example: we want to completely remove the recurring appointment step, the recurring summary step, and the payment step; we also want to add specific questions for the client to answer on the customer information step.
I have tried to find help articles and do these changes on my own, but I am stuck.
I would love to be connected with someone that can help me make these updates.
I appreciate your response and the information provided.
Concerning the payment section, I'd like to draw your attention to a discrepancy observed on the Amelia website. In the showcased law firm case study, the payment option is conspicuously absent from the booking flow. Could you please verify if there exists a method to replicate this setup within our Amelia platform?
The demonstration (please see here) featured on their website raises confusion as to why such an option would be displayed if it is not implementable. Your clarification on this matter is crucial, as the ability to emulate this specific booking flow was a significant factor in our decision to invest in Amelia.
Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. I eagerly await your guidance on how we can proceed.
Just a regular user here but if you go into the service you are looking to change and edit it, there will be an option for "set recurring status" if you have it disabled it will skip the recurring steps automatically and not show them in the sidebar. Also if you go to the Duration & Pricing tab and delete the price from there it will skip the payment step.
I also wanted to add a few additional fields. If you go to the custom fields option in Amelia it will also let you add extra text lines where you can add your extra questions, such as I needed and address field.
Ideally I'd like to remove the whole 'Payment Summary' field from the booking form so that it doesn't even show up, as seen in this demo; I want our booking form to look just like that.
Ya so if you go into the service, then the duration & pricing tab and delete the price and leave it at the $0.00 it removes the payment section all together.

Hello Jake,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For the purpose of removing the recurring appointments option, you can disable is it for services on the Amelia/Services/Edit service page.
To remove the payment step, the only option is for the services to be free.
And to add specific questions to the booking form, you can do this with the custom fields option.
Please let me know if that works for you or not.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hi again!
Ya so if you go into the service, then the duration & pricing tab and delete the price and leave it at the $0.00 it removes the payment section all together.
Hope this helps.
Hello Marcus,
Thank you for sharing this information with Jake.
Jake, Marcus is right, if you set the price to 0, the payment summary step will be removed completely.
Please let me know if that works for you or not.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
