Good morning, I have an issue with importing customers via CSV, specifically regarding the phone number field. I'm unsure how to input the numbers; without a prefix, it gives me an error, and if I include the prefix, it still gives me an error. In what format should phone numbers be written? Should prefixes be entered with '00' or '+'? Thank you in advance
Hi, thank you very much for the response. I had already seen your instructions, but if I insert the "+" sign in the phone number cell in the file, it interprets it as a formula and gives me an "invalid format, error" message. So, how can I avoid this problem?
I suppose you are using Excel for editing the .csv file? I guess this is related to formating settings in excel. For example, I'm using the LibreOffice and it's much easier to use.
Hi Stefan, I've figured it out. I'm leaving the solution here in case it might be useful for others. When using Excel or Google Sheets to input a prefix with a "+", to prevent it from being interpreted as a formula, you need to insert the data with an apostrophe in front, like this: '+

Hello varia,
Thanks for reaching out to us. The phone number should have + in front, since it needs to have a country code. These are the import rules.
It should be working properly. Please try and let me know if it works.
Kind Regards,
