    Dear Support Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to report a critical issue I am encountering with the Amelia Booking plugin.

    I am currently in the process of delivering a new website, to my client for their new bungee fitness studio. While this is not my first time using Amelia for website creation, I have never encountered this particular problem before, and I am unable to determine if there is a misconfiguration on my end.
    I am using Amelia 7.5.1

    At present, the website is operational solely for backend bookings, with reservations from various clients already being recorded. It will be made available to the public, as soon as possible, once all existing reservations have been entered. The website operates exclusively through packages, and given that the studio is new and introducing this novel activity to our city, the most commonly used package is the Free Trial package "Clase de Prueba Gratis".

    The issue I have identified persists across all packages, regardless of type. Initially, the system seemed to be functioning correctly for the first two days, allowing reservations to be made and appointments to be scheduled accordingly. However, since last night, we have noticed that when dealing with a new client, it is possible to assign them a package, but the system does not permit scheduling appointments for the package. Everything appears to progress smoothly until the point of saving the information. There is no notification confirming registration, nor does any error message appear; the process simply does not advance. Strangely, this issue does not occur when attempting to schedule appointments for clients who were registered in previous days.

    To aid in troubleshooting, I have created a video demonstration for clarity. However, given that this is a new business just opening its doors, it is imperative that this issue be resolved urgently. I kindly implore your prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

    Additionally,  could you please advise on the most compatible versions of WordPress and WooCommerce with the Amelia plugin? This inquiry is especially pertinent given the recent issues experienced with updates.

    I will share access credentials privately in a separate ticket, and I kindly request that no information be deleted, as this pertains to the live website rather than a testing environment.

    Thank you for your prompt response and for taking the time to investigate the issue on our website.

    We appreciate your efforts in creating a new customer and successfully booking an appointment. However, after further testing on our end, we are still experiencing difficulties with the booking process for new customers.

    As per your suggestion, we temporarily removed the restriction on the number of free packages per person. Additionally, we noticed that the test appointment made by you was canceled, so we attempted to add a new appointment. Regrettably, we encountered the same issue where we are unable to proceed with the booking. We have recorded a video demonstration of this issue, which you can view here: https://we.tl/t-fUiwGbRtSc.

    Furthermore, upon examining the console, we observed an error that may provide insight into the root cause of the problem. Strangely, when we removed the canceled status from the test appointment, we no longer encountered any issues.

    We are perplexed by this inconsistency and would greatly appreciate any insights or assistance you can provide to help us resolve this issue.

    Dear Marko,

    Thank you immensely for your invaluable assistance and positive attitude in helping me resolve the issue.

    After reading your message yesterday, I continued to conduct tests and explore different alternatives, despite the late hour due to our time zone difference (I am based in Guadalajara, Mexico). I was surprised to find that you encountered no issues while performing the same actions that initially posed a challenge for me. In light of this, I took the following steps:

    1. Initially, the health status of my website was marked as critical due to not utilizing a cache memory manager (although I did have a plugin installed for this purpose). I decided to switch to another plugin, and as a result, the overall health status of my website improved.
    2. Additionally, I reset my router and cleared the cache of my Chrome browser.

    While it is unclear which of these actions specifically resolved the issue, I am pleased to report that my website is now functioning correctly. I would recommend these steps to any other Amelia user experiencing inconsistencies.

    Furthermore, I would like to suggest an improvement to Amelia's notification system. It would be beneficial if, in cases where a successful notification is not provided, Amelia could instead display an error message or reason for the inability to proceed, similar to how it notifies users when a slot or space is no longer available.

    In any case, I have re-enabled your access as an administrator in case you would like to verify anything further.

    By the way, could you please provide information on the supported versions of WordPress and WooCommerce by the Amelia plugin? Do you recommend staying up-to-date with the latest versions for optimal compatibility and performance? Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    We are glad to hear that all is fine and we can confirm that we are compatible with all version but you can use whatever you want it is not necessary to use the latest version if you do not want to.
