Appointment Export - Why is Customers column mixed with email+phone / Request Custom Fields to be included within Customer page

    Hi,

I am trying to export the appointment list since it includes the custom fields (I'm not really sure why the customer page doesn't have this). However, the first column under Customers includes both the first and last names, email, and phone number together.

Is there any way you can update this? It should be an easy fix or include commas so we can easily split it up.

A second request is to include custom fields within the customer section as it will greatly enhance this page and make it useful.

Context: Currently, the /admin.php?page=wpamelia-customers#/customers page only includes Customer, WordPress User, Phone, Notes, and Last Appointment. However, there are 8 additional fields that we require customers to fill out for their profile. As of now, the only way to include them is within the notes section, which makes it difficult. It's messy having to copy and paste from the appointment page and then place it under notes (this is why we're using the export from the appointment page).

Custom fields should be apart of this similar to how it is shown with the appointment section.

    Thank you for you help

    Helo King,

Thanks for reaching out to us. I suppose that you are using the latest version of Amelia. It works correctly on our localhost when you export the appointment file

This is also a file exported from "customers" section. This is also correct

Not sure which app you are using to import these .csv files, but make sure that you select the right import settings. For example, I'm using LibreOffice, but if you are using Excel, so you should double check the import settings.

Regarding the custom fields, please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page,  to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your response. Yes, I am using the latest version of Amelia and had already suggested this feature, but this is a pretty straightforward adjustment in my opinion that should have been implemented already without needing a request which will most likely gets buried...

Looking at your first screenshot of the exported file from the "appointment" section, the issue here — and what I was suggesting to fix — is that column A includes "Amelia" (first), "Test" (last), ameliatest@support, all within one column. Logically, this should be broken up into columns A, B, C, etc., or at least have commas so it can be corrected and converted into columns. On excel, we can split it up using the "space" option but for a client with multiple names, its messy...

While the exported file from the "customer" section is correct in regards to splitting out first, last, email..., it lacks the custom fields (hence my suggestion).

Can you see the frustration here? One is the ideal exported list but then lacks the basic ... Second is suppose to be the "master" list but doesn't have everything..

Again this is not a crazy request, so i hope the team will look to implement this..

    Hello King,

Apologies for the delayed answer. I was looking for a workaround, but, apparently, this will be improved in future updates. If you configure this option

name, phone and email will be separated, but the first column with multiple names, this will be improved in future updates. I have forwarded this information to developers.
