Hi, I would like to filter 4 tables I have on the page from the same filter control. The tables share a common column (User) and I would like to filter them by selecting a user from a drop-down. I tried the filter widget but it repeats for each table. What is the best way to tackle this?

    Hi Peter,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but we do not have any way to set up one filter which can apply on multiple tables on the same Page.

Each Table can only have its own/separate set of column filters.

The only way right now, how you can make one 'filter parameter' affect multiple tables on same Page, is via our URL Pre-filtering, please check more how that works here.

So, if you have multiple Tables which have the same Column Header name, and if you add a parameter in the URL which filters some value for this column, if you add a parameter to the end of the Page URL, something like :

    ?wdt_column_filter[ColumnName]=FilterValue

Then if all tables on Page have a common column name, like you said "User", then this will apply on all tables that have this common/same column.

But that is the only way, we can't have a column filter like a dropdown to achieve it.
