    Hello, I'm asking for help because I want to add two ACF fields: Files (ability to upload multiple files) and a checkbox field. I've installed the ACF module and added checkbox and file fields there, then I added these fields in wpDataTables but it doesn't work. In the appropriate columns, it doesn't show either the file field or the checkbox. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong and how I can make it so that the cells display the checkbox fields and a field where I can upload multiple files (your system only allows uploading one file by default to one cell.) Below I am sending a link to a video of my table and settings:

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

    1. When it comes to 'multiple file upload' in the same cell;

    Sorry to disappoint you, but we currently don't have any solution for that.

    In our 'attachment' editor input type - you can only upload one file at a time.

    Please check more details as well as current limitations on how our 'attachment' editor type works here.

    You can make a future development suggestion for that, but I can't say a realistic ETA.

    Please feel free to search on our suggestions page

     to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

    and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    2. From your Video, it seems to me you wish to make an "Editor input type" for adding new entries or editing them as a "CheckBox"?

    Sorry to disappoint you on that point, too, but at the moment, we do not have a CheckBox option for editing.

    We only have a multi-SelectBox for editing, that will place the values in the same cell separated by comma;

    the editing values can be selected from a dropdown as multiSelectBox.

    You can check more about all our currently available Editor input types here.

    Currently we only have CheckBox available for filtering/but not for editing.

    You can also add another suggestion for a future option, but we can't say an ETA on that one, as well.

    3. Using our Hidden/Dynamic Field in order to auto-populate a row from ACF:

    You are not using this functionality correctly.

    Basically, as we explain on this Documentation on how our new Hidden fields work;

    You can not edit this field manually - this is only going to automatically populate as a hidden field, if you place this Manual Table shortcode on some Page or Post where you have your ACF / Custom Fields.

    Please go through our detailed step-by-step example to see how a checkbox field made from ACF is going to be rendered in our Manual table's hidden ACF field.

    Here are just some screenshots :

    So if I have this back-end Page and I insert these ACF fields there - a checkbox we set as 'genre' with values 'action' and 'sci fi'.

    Then, we load this Manual Table on that Page on front-end, add a new row;

    and the ACF values will automatically populate.

    So you can not see these hidden fields as actual editable fields - they just automatically populate.

    This is how the checkbox Field from ACF populates in our Table, with comma separated values in the same cell :

    But please go through a more detailed explanation on the ACF section on this Documentation.

    Let me know if that clarifies how the hidden Fields work and if you have any questions.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,
