need the possibility to have differents prices for services !! ( price for adults, price for children, and not with events ) it's the WAR with my customer who need that since long time ! any snippet ??? This ask should be a PRIORITY now in future update !!! it's a BASIC function i need it ( and i'm not alone to ask that )
The solution would be to create two different employees with two different pricing where you would need to change the labels in the Customize section. For example, one employee would be "adults", the second one will be "Kids" and then when the customer chooses the services, he would need to choose the employee (in this case a category). Based on the choice, different pricing will be displayed.
IÂ hope it helps. )
it is necessary, i point out, to fill in an email address each time!!! which means i have to create fake emails for each rate ( alias )??? it's really not practical !!!!Â
can't you develop a simpler solution !!! please !!!
I want to know the same. How to add different pricing for Child, Adults, etc, in the service section. Not in the events section. The only custom I can see is time related.
The option that is available at this time is the one that my colleagues mentioned.
We don't have such variable pricing options for appointments from Services, yet, if you use the Services system.
For Services, you can make a workaround, though,
for example, you can add an "Extra" selection for Services,Â
Extras allow you the possibility to add additional services or products customers can buy when they are scheduling an appointment.
And in this, you can set up a question for a customer booking,Â
for example "If they bring children, and how many" ( and they can input the number of children with them, you can set different prices for that);
Here is my basic example of this :
Let's say I make a Service like that,
and I will set the regular price for adults as 20$, but if they bring kids with them, for each kid it will be 5$.
Now I add the "Extra step/selection" to the Form:
-
And this is how the Booking of the Service will look for the Customer on the front end:
First, they select the service, and before it brings them to the "Date and time" timeslot of the appointment,
first, they have to say if they are bringing kids, and if so - how many :
This is how the Payment Summary will look in the Form ( Before it gets redirected to the WooCommerce Payment Gateway)
-
Of course, I just gave you very basic examples - you will be able to customize a lot of elements, such as labels, on the left sidebar, it can say, instead of "Extras",
We can forward the suggestion internally but feature to be considered a priority must be upvoted by a large number of other customers.
We encourage you to kindly consider submitting this valuable suggestion as a feature request through the following link:Â https://features.wpamelia.com/. The prioritization of feature development is greatly influenced by the number of customer requests received. By participating and expressing your support, you contribute significantly to the potential expedited implementation of this feature.
We have implemented cart feature recently because it has the higher number of votes and we are working on the Waiting list feature for a while now because now it has the largest number of votes. We work on features based on the biggest demand on the market if some feature had 100 votes and other 30 this will be lower priority and we work on features based on the higher number of votes.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.Â
the problem with adding extra children is that it doesn't count towards the number of places available... for example: if there are 4 places in a class IN TOTAL, if an adult takes a place and adds 3 children... there will still be 3 places available for reservation in the class WHILE the class is full... and that's a problem for the number of places available...
and what's more, extras are not included in the packages!!!! if I make a package of 2 adult lessons + 2 children's lessons, where each hour there must be one child + one adult (family lessons)... the extra child is not displayed, and once again is not deducted... same example: 4 class places: one adult adds 3 children and another adult adds 2 children... 7 people for 4 places... we've exceeded the maximum number of places in the course! and that's not possible... That's why IT'S ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE to set up the possibility of different rates for a service; THAT CAN BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN SERVICE PACKAGES, so that it counts as booking places, especially when the quantities of places are limited and in small numbers!!! THANK YOU FOR DEVELOPING THIS FEATURE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, WHICH I THINK MANY PEOPLE ARE WAITING FOR ...
so I created an adult service AND a children's service, each with 4 places.  BUT how do I limit the number of places on an appointment for an employee ??? Here's an example:  employee âARTHURâ from 6pm to 8pm --> 4 places available BUT it can be children as well as adults! example: 1 adult and 3 children or 2 adults 2 children, etc etc etc.... or 4 adults or 4 children... so in the departments I have 4 available for the adult department and 4 available for the children's department... BUT HOW DO I LIMIT 4 PLACES TO ONE TIME SLOT?
so if we are forced to put a different niche for the child service, will this service be selectable on a package where there are 2 different services to group 2 offers. basically I have a slot with an adult service, and I want to be able to add the child sercice on this slot, only in a package ... is this possible? how! Because not being able to select the type of customer on a service (adult or child, etc etc.) is really a horror to be able to work around the problem! because it is also not possible to allocate a time slot on a package, which I suppose is based only on the time slots available to the speaker, and according to the slots allocated for each service. I did a test, we book one service after another for a package... So actually for the moment there is no real solution to get around the problem. And itâs starting to piss me off too. I bought a plugin that is completely blocked to meet basic requests from my customers.
At this time, our only course of action would be to escalate your query to the appropriate department for further review. However, we can not make any promises. We've thoroughly examined your recent responses, but they are a little confusing. Despite multiple reviews, we're still unable to get the precise question of the issue or what you are asking us. Would you kindly provide a specific question or clarification to facilitate a more accurate and helpful response?
I also feel this is a very important option - and all your solutions may work but don't take into account the original capacity of the service (like 12 seats, but adult can add children and that won't count to the total of 12 which is the max)
Thank you for letting us know that you'd benefit from this feature as well, Cheryl.
As Marko mentioned, we forward your votes to our developers, but they develop features based on multiple factors like the number of votes, the complexity of the improvement (how will it affect the current features of the plugin), our company's plans for the plugin, and so on.
Please feel free to vote for this improvement here since, the more votes a suggestion has, the more likely it will be developed sooner.
You're correctâwhen extras are added to services, there's currently no control over the combined capacity, which can lead to overbooking. As previously mentioned, addressing this issue is complex and requires significant code revisions while maintaining the existing logic in Amelia.
We appreciate your vote for this feature and encourage others visiting this public ticket to do the same. The more votes a suggestion receives, the higher its chances of being prioritized. However, it's important to note that voting is just one of many factors influencing our development decisions. Other variables include our companyâs plans, the complexity of the feature, and the time required for development. There are currently over 35 feature suggestions with more than 200 votes each that are still pending implementation. While I cannot provide specific details or ETAs, I assure you that these decisions are made carefully, considering all the mentioned factors.
We will do our best to advocate for prioritizing tickets and custom pricing in Amelia's services, but we cannot make any promises at this time.

From what I understand this is available in events but not services. Â
Without this feature how can we ensure that our occupancy does not exceed 12 people when children are added as extras?
I have voted for the feature but fear despite its relevance to a number of people it will not be added for sometime.
Has anyone found an alternative product or solution that handles this?Â
Thank you for your input, Happy.
