We have a custom role set up via User Role Editor with the rights found attached. This should only give the user read rights.
However when logged in as the user they are still able to make appointments on the backend and even able to delete events. (Also attached as a screenshot below).
How can we disable this for the user role? Mistakes are being made and it is cumbersome for the organization to call the customer afterwards :).
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your patience.
The issue is that the Role Editor is not part of Amelia's functionality and we do not have control over which permission it adds and thus I would suggest that you reach out to their support and they will be able to assist you with this.
Thanks for your reply! I will contact User Role Editors support team about that. I was wondering what would be possible from within Amelia :). If I grant the user Amelia Employee role they see too much (we only want them to see the calendar).
Can you tell me if that would be feasible without the User Role Editor?
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/
We carefully follow suggestions from our customers and the more votes the feature gets, the more priority we put on implementing that feature in one of the future updates.
