    Hello!

    A very common problem with the Yandex browser, people from Russian time zones +4 or more, when recording, encounter difficulties in that they select the time in their time zone, but on my website in the plugin it shows the time in Moscow when recording. That is, clients choose a time in their time zone, and technically they are booked for a time when I am not yet working. For example, the city of Perm has a time zone of +5, and Moscow is +3. A person thinks that he is choosing the time of Perm, but in fact the recording is 2 hours earlier. This creates serious time management difficulties for me and clients. And people use this browser very often on their computers and laptops. Please give feedback if you can fix this bug.

    It will be very good if you can fix this bug, because in the near future I plan to launch an advertising campaign for my services in Russia, and I will not be able to control which browser potential clients will use, this will create serious problems for my reputation.

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Not sure what you think the bug is but the customers see the time slots in time zone that you set in WordPress. But in general settings we have option called Show booking slots in client time zone

    And this way they will see the bookings in the time zone that set on their devices. So they can not book outside your work hours but they can see the time slots in their time zone.

    This setting is enabled. But despite this setting, a client from this browser can make an appointment even when it’s not my working hours. Because there is a failure in the script that is responsible for determining the time zone.

    I will describe in more detail:

    My working hours start at 15:00 Moscow time; in Costa Rica it’s 6:00. And a client with a Yandex browser in the city of Perm (+2 hours from Moscow) selects a time for 15-00 Perm time, because in the registration form he sees the opportunity to sign up for 15-00 (in Moscow it’s 13-00, for me in Costa -Rike it’s 4:00, the time when I’m still sleeping).

    And this error is constant. My client makes an appointment for 15-00 in the city of Perm (+5), because this time is open for appointments. But it does not show correctly, it should show that the earliest time for recording is 17-00 Perm time. This client signed up on the site through Amelia 6 times and we always got confused about the appointments.

    And what is most important, another client from Moscow then sees this time (15-00) free in another browser (because the calendar entry from Perm is at 4-00 Costa Rica time, and 6-00
      freely, that is, 15-00 Moscow time) and also makes an appointment, in the end you get 2 clients for one time.

    And this only happens with this Yandex browser. This browser is very popular in Russia because it was made by the Yandex company; the Yandex search engine is the largest after Google. And I won't be able to control all the "don't use this browser" clients, especially when I launch an advertising campaign.

    I suggest not to think, but to download the Yandex browser, enable VPN, and test, find an error or loophole that this browser uses, and write a few lines of code, thanks to which such confusion will no longer happen.

    Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

    We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

    Hello again,

    We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that we have changed the system timezone of our computer so that the browsers are now using the timezone Asia/Karachi (UTC+5, which is the same timezone as Perm). It seems that google chrome and yandex are  showing accurate timeslots

    Since working hours are from 6am-22pm in Costa Rica, in Perm this is from 17pm-9am. An appointment booked for 17h will show up as 15h in the backend Appointments page since the timezone of Wordpress is set to UTC+3. On a side note, it is best to set the Woespress timezone as a city, to keep it accurate in case of daylight saving time.

    Thank you for your prompt work. Have you tested your hypothesis about changing the site time to the city, instead of UTC? If I make this adjustment, will there definitely be a positive effect?

    Hello again,

    We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that the change to city instead of UTC+3 is just related to the accuracy during daylight saving time and is related to how the appointments will be displayed on the admin backend. However, we could not reproduce the error you have described on your website, that a person in Perm would see the timeslot of 15:00h

    In the settings for notification letters, I noticed that you can't add emoji to the text, and I think this is necessary to create a friendly atmosphere when scheduling a meeting with clients. Please add the ability to do this.
