We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I have a form i've setup using formidable forms: https://scpreservationtoolkitfull.flywheelsites.com/preservation-tools/find-an-expert/submit-your-profile/

There is a checkbox selection "Professional Capabilities" and I would like my WPTables table to sort these based on what is submitted via the form on this page: https://scpreservationtoolkitfull.flywheelsites.com/preservation-tools/find-an-expert/

I have the filter for that table setup, and i've defined the values in WPTables, however when the user submits the form it saves all the checkbox selections for that individual submission as one string... not the pre-defined one's i've defined in the table settings, thus breaking the sorting.
How can I do this properly?

    Hi Gene,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    - You can split the values up individually, to use in a filter, even if they are pulled together in the same cell,

    here is an example.

The table pulls the values from all cells, so since you have multiple values together in one cell, it sees it as a unique value.

What you can do is open this column's settings, go to the Data tab. In there, change "Possible values for column" from "Read from table on page load" to "Define values list":

Then, in the "Values list", manually input the individual values that should be included in this column, and that's it. It should allow you to select each value on the filter, as an individual selection.

; here is the resulting filter multiselectbox of this example:

    2. If I understood, you already did all this, and now when a new row is entered, that somehow 'breaks' this filter selection?

We are not able to reproduce that, so can you please send me remote access to check the Table back end setup?

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

And point us to the Table ID.

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards,
