We had a question regarding the ability to limit appointments per customer in settings for each Service. We are using Amelia to schedule reservations in a makerspace-like environment, and want to limit individuals to only booking X number of hours on one machine (ie. Service) per Calendar day.
Looking through support, I believe this question is related to tickets #3542995 and #3604467.
Right now, we are using the limit appointments per customer feature with 1 appointment within the time frame of 12.5 hours, calculated from Appt. date and time. This means an individual can only book the Service once, up to X hours duration, and be blocked off from booking until we open the next day. The 12.5 hours covers days with our longest operating hours.
But, should we ever change our operating hours, this may not function anymore. Is there a way to have an appointment limit roll over at 12am, local to our time zone (Calendar day)? Alternatively, is there a way to allow users to make as many bookings as they want, up to a certain hour amount, as this would circumvent this question entirely?
Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to have the appointment limit reset at midnight according to the local time zone or to allow unlimited bookings up to a certain number of hours.
However, you can submit this suggestion at the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/. Our team considers user feedback to improve Amelia's functionalities, and your suggestion could be taken into account for future updates.
Thank you for your understanding and your contribution to improving our service.
