I have a question regarding the possibility of adding a "cancellation fee" (8%) when clients decide to cancel their appointment, which we allow up to 24hrs. in advance of the booking. Is there a place to include the fee through the Customer Panel so that the Amelia system intuitively knows when to add this additional charge to complete the cancellation?
If this is currently not possible through existing Amelia protocols, can it be added as a feature? Thank you for your time!
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. At this time you can only accept for example deposits and send them a payment link where they need to pay the rest before the appointment starts. If they do not pay you keep the deposit. But if you ask for a full payment at the end of the booking process then what you want to achieve is not possible Im afraid and we encourage you to kindly consider submitting this valuable suggestion as a feature request through the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/. The prioritization of feature development is greatly influenced by the number of customer requests received. By participating and expressing your support, you contribute significantly to the potential expedited implementation of this feature.
