Hi, I have a client who wants to integrate booking into their site. They are a Personal Trainer so I think the system is ideal but I can't find anywhere in the documentation if you can customise how cancellations are handled. They want to be able to give a full refund if the cancellation is more than 24 hours before the appointment, but no refund if it's within 24 hours. Is this possible?
Yes, with Pro license you can click on the transaction and click on refund and the amount will be refunded to them. So it can not be refunded automatically once they cancel you need to click to send a refund. And for each service you can set that minimum time before cancelation is 24 hours. You can set this for each service in service edit service settings.
Also we would suggest that you set terms of use where you will have this in written that they can cancel end be refunded only 24 hours before the appointment.
To add a link to Terms & Conditions, you can use "Checkbox" or "Radio" custom fields. In the custom field you need to add an anchor tag like this:
So this text appears as a hyperlink that opens a new tab (target="_blank") and takes the customers to your Terms & Conditions without them leaving the booking form. So the custom field on the back-end would look like this:
As you can see, we made this radio button a mandatory field, so no one can book an appointment without checking the "I agree" button.
THis should help with all of this.
