Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, when booking manually an appointment for a customer in the backend, its automatically configured to "on-site" payment method. You can put a payment link in the notification template (that is sent once the appointment is booked) on which, a customer can pay for an appointment. Regarding the notifications, in most cases, this issue is happening because of the wrong configuration. For mail settings, we recommend using the SMTP protocol since it's the most convenient and proven way of sending emails. Please find more information on this link.
