Hi, our customer using Amelia Plugin has been experiencing sporadically two problems with coupons,

1: it seems that a coupon get applied in the booking form, the price gets changed. (In this case its 100% rebate coupons) but the coupon is not recorded in the database. So the price is 0, but the coupon is not registered in the booking. This is important to know because they bill larger clients separately by the code they use.

2: The last step where you add a coupon sometimes do not display. That step is just skipped and the user gets right to the booking confirmation view.

Ok, lets address our second issue first.

We found out the problem, and are pretty disappointed that we had to go through al lot of test-ordering and customer complaints. It seems that after one of your updates, all the services had somehow custom time lengths, and all had custom pricing for each duration. The custom pricing was at 0 on all timeslots. So this did not trigger the coupon window because the price was set to zero.

See screenshot. As you can see marked in red box, this was fixed by opening the service and resaved it. The rest had these custom times where all prices were set to zero. This is pretty bad to be a premium service.

The first Issue might be related, but i cant provide any more information due to the lack of any type of log by the Amelia Plugins. This should be addressed.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Hello Rodrigo,

    Thank you for your patience.

It's important to note that custom time lengths and pricing being set to zero couldn't have occurred automatically as part of an update. These settings typically require manual intervention from an administrator or user with appropriate access.

To delve deeper into this matter, it would be beneficial to investigate if there are any other admin users or personnel who might have configured these custom durations and pricing settings unintentionally. Collaborating with other team members who have access to the website's backend could provide valuable insights into any changes made to the service settings.

Understanding the origins of these custom settings will help us pinpoint the root cause of the issue and prevent similar occurrences in the future. Additionally, if there are any other details or observations you can provide regarding the setup or management of the services, it would greatly assist in troubleshooting and resolving the issue effectively.

We remain committed to ensuring the smooth operation of your service booking system and appreciate your cooperation in addressing this matter. Please feel free to share any additional information or concerns you may have, and we'll work together to find a solution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks, Uros. The update claim was just a speculation from my side due to not knowing exactly what caused it. What i know is that the first service in the image i posted previously had these custom timeslots, in that service they are correct. What i might suspect is that somehow a query or an update action did save that setting on all other services , somehow, i really dont know. At least when i found out all the services below had the same settings for custom timeslots as the forst one.

I know its pretty difficult to fix a problem that cant be replicated, but at least thats the information i can give you about this issue.

    Thanks anyways. :)
