I'm having problems with my email notifications. I entered my smtp details and rechecked it many times, tried different details, but the notifications won't work. I don't receive any error either. When I try to send a test message from the notifications panel, it will stay processing it for like 3 or 4 minutes and then it suddenly stops to load/send the message. No error nor anything.
Similar issue although an error message shows up on the top right of the screen (see attached).
I have followed all steps in setting up SMTP settings and cannot get emails to notify customers and employees - this is causing serious problems for my business.
Hi Cathy, Since you are using gmail, I believe this solution might work for you. You have to set up a different type of password. Here they explain you how.
It is not my case cause I'm using my own email provider. But hopefully this saves you some time.
Thanks for reaching out to us. As Alexandre suggested, this could be an issue either with the SMTP credentials or the hosting provider. First, you need to make sure that the credentials are correct (you can follow the instructions from the video, or from this link) and see if it fixes the issues. If you are sure that the credentials are correct, then most probably is the issue with the hosting provider. The best option, in that case, would be to provide the WP admin credentials so we can inspect the issue through the console.
Guys I know you are very busy but support is lacking.
You replied to someone else's problem through my ticket and didn't address my question. Now I have an important ticket open related to payment issues and I couldn't get an answer since Friday. I've already solved my problem with SMTP but I need assistance with this PRIVATE TICKET #363685
Apologies for the inconvenience. The solution for the notifications that you previously had is to double check the SMTP settings, as i suggested to Cathy, since in most cases this is coming from the wrong configuration. If the configuration is correct, then the issue is related to hosting provider settings. Usually, the hosting provider has some settings that prevent the notifications from being sent.
The ticket under number #363685 doesn't exist anymore, but i can see that you've opened another one regarding WooCoomerce. My colleague will provide an answer as soon as possible. Please note that we don't work on weekends and we go through tickets in the order in which they are received and/or responded to.We are doing our best to provide the assistance as fast as possible.
Thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience again.
I'm sorry for writing here again but since you seem to be only one replying to messages, please help me out with my other ticket about woocommerce integration.
My business is interrupted, it has been 5 days since I asked for help, tomorrow is easter for you guys so I'll probably not get another answer until next week.. I can't afford it! Specially when I'm NOT using the FREE version of Amelia.
I understand you are busy, but we are all busy. Your product serves other business, people's money is in the line. Y'all need to improve the customer service.
