Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Outdated Forms - What does this mean

    Hi,

When you first launched the new forms version 2.0, they of course looked better, but there were issues with it. And those issues still exist so, I'm actually still using version 1.0, and I can't take advantage of all the new features (even though I've paid for  professional version)

In the most recent release of Wp Amelia, version 1.0 appears to be flagged as being outdated . This is is unsettling. Does that mean that "legacy" forms will be removed in future versions?

The truth is, I'd actually prefer to use the newer interface. However, it's been about 12 months since the new form has been introduced, and two issues still remain, at least with the Catalogue Booking Form v2.0 is:

    • The calendar isn't displayed immediately
    • The "Book Now" button can't even be moved.

See the attachment below for an explanation.

I'm wondering if version 2,.0 forms will be fixed, or will we be forced to move to version 2.0 which has those two issues. Or alternatively, will we be forced to stay with a legacy interface that won't get any more updates and will no longer be supported?

Perhaps you could advise your user base, which of these options we will be forced to choose from.

On a personal note, what I'd really love to see is an interface that looks similar to the industry standard, which these three companies have adopted: Calendly, fluentbooking, and tidyCal - they all use almost exactly the same interface.

    Just my two cents!

    Ronnie

    Hello Ronnie,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding the transition from the 1.0 to the 2.0 version of our event booking form in Wp Amelia. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to improve our platform and provide the best user experience possible.

We want to assure you that while version 1.0 of the event booking form may be flagged as outdated in recent updates, it will still remain functional and usable for the foreseeable future. We understand that some users, like yourself, may prefer to continue using the 1.0 version due to unresolved issues in the 2.0 version.

Regarding the 2.0 version, please know that our team is actively working on addressing the existing issues to make the transition between the two forms as seamless as possible for our users. We are committed to improving the functionality and usability of the 2.0 version to ensure that it meets the needs and expectations of our users, including yourself.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these improvements. Your input helps us prioritize our efforts and make informed decisions about the direction of our platform. Additionally, we take your suggestion regarding the interface design into consideration and strive to create an interface that aligns with industry standards, such as those seen in Calendly, fluentbooking, and tidyCal.

Once again, thank you for your feedback and support. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

    Kind Regards,
