we started using Amelia for our bookings recently and have a small issue. We sync our appointments to our google calendar. Is there a way to sync additional info like booked extras or additional persons or a custom field into the google calendar entry?
thank you for the info. I didn't figure out this field could be filled that way.
But i still have two unsolved tasks:
- Services: is there a placeholder for the total price of an appointment after all the extras have been added? For some reason i only get the base price with either %service_price% and %appointment_price%
- Events: i have events with e.g. 8 tickets. If someone adds 2 additional persons i have 5 entries in google calendar. Thats obvious and correct. But i would like to have a +2 behind the person who took the extra tickets.
Is that possible? The placeholder %numer _of_persons% displays the total amount of persons that are attending the event.
You are welcome. Unfortunately, regarding the pricing placeholders, this is yet to be added, please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Of course, if you have any other questions or issues, feel free to ask.

The suggestion request was for both questions, my apologies for not mentioning the second part. Currently, there is only this placeholder %number _of_persons%, but as you already saw, this will read a total number of persons.

Hello Andreas,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
You can edit the information that goes to Google Calendar, by putting placeholders in Google Calendar "event title and description".
These placeholders will read the information and it will be forwarded to Google Calendar.
Let me know if it works.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Thanks, i will do that.
And yes, there was a second question in my post:
