I have had multiple situations where a client would want to select items from a table and submit them to a form processor for other magic things. In those cases, I just have to revert back to using Datatables natively, but I really love utilizing your product in my WordPress sites.
We did have a few other users who already requested a feature like this, to add a checkbox next to the rows;
so that a user can select a range of rows, and then to 'do an action on them' or 'send them somewhere' and so on...
There have just been different specific 'actions' after the rows have been selected that differ from one use-case to another, but we will do our best to develop something like that.
I just can't promise an ETA on it, but you can affect the development speed and check if someone already suggested exactly the same scenario, or if you need a slightly different one, it is best to add a new development suggestion.
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

If you have coding skills and wish to try to make a custom solution now,
Is there a plan to include handling checkboxes on a table?

Hi Jermaine,
We did have a few other users who already requested a feature like this, to add a checkbox next to the rows;
so that a user can select a range of rows, and then to 'do an action on them' or 'send them somewhere' and so on...
So, please feel free to search on our suggestions page,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

If you have coding skills and wish to try to make a custom solution now,
you can check out our available hooks for Developers on this documentation and see if you can find any hook that might help.
Please be advised that custom solutions with hooks are not included in our support.
You can also research resources such as Stack Overflow to see if any other user perhaps found a workaround.
( We do like to give examples for certain solutions, but for this use-case, we, unfortunately, don't have anything yet)
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
