Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

I have a few feature requests that I think would make Amelia even better:

1/ Ability to specify what you call *customers* and *employees*. Throughout the interface they are all referred to as *customers* and *employees* but it would be nice to be able to call them *clients* and *staff*

2/ A *pay now* notification after appointment is created by employee. It would be really cool to be able to create an appointment for a customer/client that sends an email to *pay now* through Stripe. This would allow an employee to assist a customer over the phone but allow the customer to deal with their own billing.

3/ Better HTML notification editing. Every time I use the html area to customize a good looking email notification it mangles the HTML when anyone looks at the text option in the interface. For instance, I edited a notification and then the next day I went back and Amelia auto-loaded the text option which mangled the progress I had made.

Anyway, those are some things that would make Amelia even better. Awesome work, btw. It is a great tool!

    Hello Tommy,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1. Words can be changed using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example very easily. I suggest you install Loco Translate and then translate these strings.

If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:

    1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.

    2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.

    3. You need to download and install POEDIT

    4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.

    5. Translate all the strings that are not translated

    6. Save the translation.

    7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.

This is an example of the French language, but you will choose yours.

    2. For that purpose, the employee can set the appointment to pending status and you will need to add the payment link placeholder to the "Appointment Pending" notification template.

    3. We will definitely improve this in the future, but there is no ETA on this.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind Regards,
