After the update, customers do not have access to a customer panel. They receive a link to email but, but the link does not land them to the panel to manage their bookings.
Please check if the customer panel notification is correctly configured. In the template, there should be a placeholder for the URL of the page where the customer panel form is located. This placeholder will read the information (URL) from the User Role / Customer field. You can also refer to this link for more information.
