Please make sure that you copied the correct placeholder for the correct feld and and also there is a difference (even the do look the same) with customer and employee placeholder so please make sure that you choose the employee notifications first and that then you copy this placeholder from there
Please try this and purge the cache and let us know how it goes.
This is not how it works at all something strange is then happening on your site.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

We have tested this by adding this placeholder to approved notifications and when we approve the appointment we get the data for this placeholder. You can see this in the screenshots
We do not see any cache plugin on your site so we would advise you to install one and to purge the cache from your site.

We have tested everything and you can see in our screenshots and in a video that we are sending you that everything is working fine
On your site we do not see any issues. If you can replicate it please send a short one minute video of the issue because as you can see all is working fine.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Ok. is this an automatic email notification right after booking? or you changed the status manually? I know the notification works when you manually change the appointment status for a customer already in the dashboard. I am inquiring about automatic emails.
Yes, this is a pending notification that is sent automatically you can see that in the screenshot if you read the text of the notifications. We have tested this and everything is working fine we do not see any issues.

We are not familiar with Forminator but reCAPTCHA is only used in situations when bookings are paid as ON-SITE, ( or "pay by cash on arrival" if we use WooCommerce),
because it is used to prevent bots from making a booking or a booking being created from a different source.
If this is tried with another payment method that is not "on-site",
there would be an error anyway,
and there is no need for Recaptcha in this situation.
Also, preventing bots only makes sense for on-site payment method,
since they would need to input their payment information and to complete the payment online, otherwise.
It is visible/exists on the old booking form either way, but it is functionally only executed/validated on the on-site payment type.
So on the new booking form it is not shown entirely when the "ON-SITE" payment method is not enabled for a service.
