Hope you're all doing wonderfully! I'm diving into setting up your splendid booking plugin for a client who's just beginning to shape her online presence. She's a solo entrepreneur, gearing up to launch her website and utilize WP Amelia primarily for its events functionality.
Given her specific needs, we're aiming to tailor the system to be as lean and user-friendly as possible. She plans to manage only events, without the need for the appointments or employee management features, as it's just her behind the wheel.
Could you guide us on how to focus the plugin solely on the event management aspect? Any advice on disabling or hiding the other features to prevent any unnecessary complexity would be incredibly helpful. We're looking to ensure a smooth and straightforward experience for her as she steps into this new venture.
Thanks a ton for your support and for developing such a versatile tool. We're eager to hear your recommendations!
There is nothing particular that you can configure to use events or appointments. If only events are going to used, you just need to use the shortcode for events to display the event list on the front end. The customers will be able to book only places for events, and she will be able to see the attendee list in each event particularly. Other settings depend on needs, of course, such as payment settings, email settings and etc.
If you want to configure something particular, please specify and we will provide assistance.
Well, the only thing that comes to mind is to edit the permission with User Role Editor. For example, you can this plugin to edit read and write permissions for certain user roles. Customer User Role by default, doesn't have access to all sections, but you can edit them according to your needs.

Hello Stefan,
I would prefer to hide everything in the backend that is not relevant for my customer: the Amelia dashboard and the appointments, for example.
