I realised today that all my time-triggered email notifications - next-day reminder, same-day reminder and follow-up post appointment have stopped working since April 1.
I had used WP control to set the Cron events as described in the Amelia FAQ, and it was working fine. I now see a "PHP Cron (Appointment Reminder) — Needs checking" message and I am not able to make any edits or add any new Php cron events.
I checked with my hosting people, and they said everything seems fine at their end.
Can you help me out with this, or suggest where I can check to resolve this?
I couldn't see a Save button either. There was no actionable link/button on this Cron job.
I did finally get it to work, so leaving what I did here in case it helps someone else.
1. I found this on the WP control documentation - "The integrity checking mechanism documented above was introduced in WP Control 1.16.2 in March 2024. "If you have PHP cron events stored on your site prior to updating to this version or later then you'll need to check and re-save your PHP cron events so the hash can be generated and saved alongside the PHP code." So figured that this had to do something with that plugin. 2. The steps to resolve this issue didn't work for me, because I didn't have an option to Check and Edit. I couldn't even add a new Php Cron event.
3. I deleted the plugin and installed it again. I had to create the Cron job again and followed the steps as mentioned on Amelia. This did the job.
I’m having the same issue, but Sandeepa’s solution did not work.
I seem to have multiple instances of the Amelia cron event. When I try to do anything (edit, delete, pause) the changes don’t stick. Deleting the events with Advanced Cron Manager didn’t work. And deleting WP-Crontol and reinstalling didn’t work either.
The actual cron behaviour—emailing Amelia notifications—isn’t working either, so I wanted to delete the notification-related crons completely and start again.
As well, notifications triggered by events (booking and appointment, for example) aren’t working either.

Hello Sandeepa,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For that purpose, you need to just click on the "Save" button for that specific cronjob.
Please let me know if that resolves this issue.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
