Previously I sent a ticket about tow separate topics, and I was suggested to send an individual ticket for each of them. The questions I want to ask the team, is:
What plugin can we use for translating the labels and text inside the booking form?
Reading the documentation, found out we have to install an independent plugin for this task, so, we wanted to see if you have any recommendations on which translating plugin is the best for working with Amelia, since most of them must be purchased and want to go with the best option.
Most labels can be now treated in Amelia customize section for new 2.0 booking forms. Amelia is automatically translated to a language that is set in WordPress and you must not add your language in Amelia since it will be saved as a second language.
Also if your site is multi lingual you need to set separate page locale language for each page and then Amelia will be translated automatically.
So perhaps you do not need to use additional plugin. In case that you are then words can be changed using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example very easily. If something can not be translated via Loco you can use Poedit. Poedit has more access for strings.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:
1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
This is an example of the French language, but you will choose yours.
