We support a Golf park with their booking and we are migrating their current bookingsystem to Amelia. They want customers to be able to bring upto 4 people with them. This is easily done with the "bringing anyone with you?" feature.
However, this also enables multiple bookings per time slot (in the documentation this is described as "Group appointments where all customers are separate (usually the case when they don’t know one another).") We don't want the separate group bookings and would like to only allow the bringing anyone with you function.
Perhaps there is a way to achieve this. In settings appointment settings you have an option called
Allow booking below minimum capacity
You need to turn it off and then to set minimum capacity to 4 and maximum to 4 and then a customer can only book for 4 people and then no one else can book this appointment.
This should help.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Thanks for the quick reply! This wouldn't be a solution because some people don't come with 4 people unfortunately. For now we fixed this by setting the maximum to 1 and then assigning an Extra to each group which asked if they bring anyone with them.
The only other option is the one that you are using now. You can set that maximum capacity is 1 and then create extras and change the labels and in that way you can increase the price
These are only option that we can offer you since you have a specific scenario. Hopefully one og these works for you. In case it does not we encourage you to kindly consider submitting this valuable suggestion as a feature request through the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/.
