We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello Amelia team!
Currently the access of customer to panel is via a link sent by email, which is not working for me!.. is there a way that customer can access panel using WP username and password just like Employee Panel, it is easy for me to create a WP username and password with role: Amelia Customer and share with client via sms or whatsapp along with panel url rather than sending access link to customer email where most of them dont use emails!
Please help - thanks!

Hello Mohamad,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Yes, there is an option to configure in User Role / Customer settings. It's called "require password for login. As you can see in tooltip, if this option is disabled, then the customer will receive a customer panel access link instead.
Feel free to try and let me know if you have any other questions or issues.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Thanks Stefan! i did not know this does it all, have a good day!
How does Amelia groups customers bookings, assuming the customer has a number of completed bookings and just creates another booking, how all his/her bookings are grouped? is it by phone number? Amelia detects mobile number and group accordingly, else what is the ID by which booking of one customer are detected?
Hello Mohamad,
If the customer already has a couple of bookings, he wont be able to book the same timeslot, since Amelia will recognize the email and the customer will get this error
If the customer book any other timeslot, in the appointments, it will be visible like this
Amelia detects email, but there is also this option in User Role settings - Check customer's name for existing email when booking
If this option is enabled, Amelia wont let the existing customers to use different first and last name when booking
I hope it helps. Please, let me know if you have any other questions or issues.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
