Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Are there any plans for a customer panel that does not have to integrate into wordpress?  I feel it confuses customers to get a separate email to create username on WP when many people don't even know what that is. The way it's done on Trafft is great, but on that app there's no separation for events and appointments, which is important for my business. It would be great if either Amelia has a non-WP customer panel or Trafft had event and appointment separation. Either of those things coming any time soon?

    Hi Dawn,

Could you just not create a WP user, and just use the Amelia customer role?  I don't think it's required for customers to create a wordpress account and can directly use the front-end customer panel.

FYI: I am an Amelia user and not affiliated with the company.

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Amelia can only exist in WordPress environment so it can be only used on WordPress.

    But there are two things

    1. Our customer panel can be used on the site on the front end

You can read more about it it on this link https://wpamelia.com/front-end-customer-panel/

    2. There is a WordPress backend that customer get but this is not related to Amelia

That's WordPress' default email for every new user. I don't know if you can disable it through WordPress settings, but I do know that you can do it with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/manage-notification-emails/

Just disable the option “New user notification to the user” and you’ll be good.

Oh and btw in case you wanna know where the code is, you might wanna open up this file: wp-includes/pluggable.php Line number: 1989

So when you disable this through the 3rd party plugin, your customers will only receive notifications from Amelia, without the following email:

    "Username: ———

To set your password, visit the following address"

    I hope that helps.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
