Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi,

A client reached out to me yesterday that the classes that she reschedules are not updating on her apple calendar. Can you help?

    Kind regards,

    Kav

She may have to manually delete the appointment on her calendar, as it was added manually by her in the first place.  I don't think Amelia has the capability of adding/modifying appointments on client's private calendars, other than providing a link for the customer to add it themselves.

    Thanks for your response Richard!

Right now, when clients buy a package, they can click at the end of the purchasing process to add appointments to one of a few different kinds of calendars. I think you referred to this as a link.

When they manually add a class to their package (if they only added 1 from the package) or if they reschedule, are you saying Amelia has no option for them to add it to their calendar? Will that option appear in the future? It seems really basic! Her words not mine.

Other businesses that she visits has online calendars that automatically update onto her Apple Calendar for her when she books classes. But at least having a link when manually adding/rescheduling classes would be good.

    Kind regards,

    Kav

This brings up an interesting issue...  On the customer panel, I don't think there's even a link to get the appointment in an exportable format to use in other applications... Maybe the functionality exists only on the initial booking form.  In that case is should be made an option on the customer panel.

    Hi,

Please note, I'm a user as well, and not affiliated with Amelia.

So I'm not sure if it will be included in the future, however I do feel it's a feature that's lacking.

Maybe for now you can make it clear to your clients on the form page, or confirmation emails that if they should have to reschedule their appointments on your system, that they would require to manually change the dates/times in their existing appointment on their calendar app.

Ah okay! I thought you were an Amelia rep. Thanks for your input! For the Amelia guys out there who might read this, please do add this feature to the customer panel when rescheduling or booking classes.

That's a cool feature, and not quite sure if there's an automated way to do so.  But I do know that calendars can be exported and shared between apps to manage scheduling.

I think for Amelia, the customer profile would require a field that allows them to add a link to their private calendar that Amelia could sync any related updates to in regards to client specific changes.

Hello Kavaitri and Richard (thanks for helping),

This is not possible to achieve at this time so when they reschedule appointments they need to update this manually. As soon as we have this possibility for sure our developers will implement it but for now this is not possible I'm afraid.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
