Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Care Services Use case

Hi, we have a client who is looking to build a service business around care services.

I was wondering if Amelia can help with the entire use case or parts of it. The service is for a pet pick and dropoff service company. The flow of steps are as follows (some or parts of these steps can be modified)

    Here is the use case:

    1. Customer selects 1 of 3 levels of service for 3 hours, 6 hours or 8 hours.

    2. Customer fills out a form with details about their pet

    3. Customer selects the day and time for the service

    4. Customer adds the address to pick up/drop off the pet (pick and drop off might be different locations).

    5. Customer enter credit card

    6. Customer submits the request

    7. System uses a round robin format to select the best available sitter

    8. Sitter can accept or decline based on the questions from step 1. If declined it goes to the next available. Once accepted the request is then approved. If no one accepts the request is declined.

    9. Customer is informed of their request status.

    10. Customer is charged a deposit based if approved. (or could be authorized for $200)

    11. Sitter comes and takes care of the dog.

    12. Customer is charged final amount.

I know we can use WPForms and Stripe for some parts of this. But I was wondering if Amelia can do all or parts of this use case.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hello Noman,

I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.

At the moment, our development team is fully engrossed in tackling priority tasks, resolving bugs, and enhancing the performance of our plugins. Due to this heavy workload, they are unable to allocate time for custom work in the immediate future. However, if you require customization, we highly recommend reaching out to WP Kraken. They specialize in developing tailored solutions and have a track record of excellence in meeting client needs. You can submit your inquiry to them through the following link: https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins. They will be best equipped to assist you with your specific requirements
