Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    I have this real estate agency that sells several projects. These projects have several units, such as lots and houses. These ventures have price lists, which are updated periodically.

    These transfer or availability tables have a map of the project with all the lots, and next to it a list with the lot or house number, the value of that lot or house, and the person responsible for the unit.

    The units that are for sale have a red dot on top. Those that are not available have nothing.

    These tables are currently made in Photoshop, and exported as PDF.

    All these tables need to be exported with a watermark at the top, with the name of each broker and the credit number. There are 12 brokers in total.

    However, every time there is an update, I have to edit each file with the changes and export 12 versions of these files. One for each broker, with their respective watermark.

    What I need is some type of system, which can be accessed via website, using tools such as wordpress, and some type of plugin that makes an map static image to be interactive. So that the map shows the markings of available units, and when clicking on the unit available, the user goes to a table with a list of all available units, with number, price and pickup.

    This site would need to have username and password access, and each user would have their own watermark overlayed on top of the maps. I would also like to create some type of easy search, with filters and options such as: filter by available units, units from a specific broker, price range, etc.

    Is your plugin capable of such tasks as above? Will I need anything else to accomplish such task?

    Hi Johnny,

    I am sorry to disappoint you, but our Plugin will not be capable of achieving all the aspects of your Use-Case.

    You can only build, display and edit Tables with our Plugin, we don't have a way of setting up a watermark, and we also don't have any way to create such an interactive map as you described.

    Just to quote that part :

    1. "some type of plugin that makes a map static image to be interactive. So that the map shows the markings of available units, and when clicking on the unit available, the user goes to a table with a list of all available units, with number, price and pickup."

    Something like this is not possible with our Plugin.

    -

    2. And also this part "this site would need to have username and password access, and each user would have their own watermark overlayed on top of the maps".

    Our Plugin does not have any way to restrict access to a Table.

    You could make a workaround with a Membership Plugin, which can be used to make 'restricted Pages' with limited access - so you could have only specific users or user Roles have access to some Page where you have a specific wpDataTable shortcode with a Table that just they should see;

    you can also add custom User Roles with Plugins such as User Role Editor;

    but our Support does not cover that part - you would need to configure that from your end.

    3. You can make a 'price list' table with our Plugin, of course.

    4. The units that are for sale have a red dot on top. Those that are not available have nothing.

    We have Conditional Formatting in our Table;  which can be used to 'transform' values depending on the value from the cell;

    you can also use it to add any styles or custom HTML in a cell, if it meets the condition you set on the Conditional Rule.

    But as mentioned, we don't have the capability of making a map, though.

    -

    5. create some type of easy search, with filters and options such as: filter by available units, units from a specific broker, price range, etc.

    We do have search and filtering available.

    You can check out all our available advanced column filters here;

    And each table has its own 'global table search' block which can be used to search any value from cells.

    And i just wanted to point out that you can try wpDataTables before purchasing

     on our sandbox Demo sites ( you can find links for the main plugin Demo,

    as well as add-on Demos, in my signature),

    and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period,

    so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period. ( same goes for all plugins and add-ons)

    So, you can test out our Plugin and try it out;

    but it will not be suitable for some of the major points of your use-case, so you can decide if it can be useful combined with some other Plugins, etc.

    Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind Regards,
