We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Services like hair coloring take longer, 2-3 hours. During this time, however, the employee is not busy all the time. Therefore he can also serve another customer. In our old booking system it was possible to enter these times for another customer. Can we make this work with Amelia too?
I'll give you an example:
Applying hair color takes 30 minutes. Allowing it to take effect takes 1 hour. The rest again in 30 minutes. This service is recorded in the system as taking a total of 120 minutes.
Of course, the hour while the color is left to take effect must be used. During this time, another shorter service should be able to be booked, e.g. a haircut for men.
How could we make this work? Even if it's not a built in feature, is there any workaround to get this to work?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. And there is no workaround for this I'm afraid. Once an employee is booked on one service he is then unavailable for further booking during that time slot. Other booking can only be made with other employees but not with this one. This is designed to prevent double booking so there is no workaround for this unless you book new appointment with some fake employee from the backend.
