I posted this as a private ticket, but nobody seems to respond to them (whilst the public tickets seem to get responses). So now I am posting publicly.
The latest update appears to have broken the wpDataTableFilterSection's ability to display HTML properly for me.
I have a table generated from Google Sheets. The attached HTML is in a cell. Custom CSS defines a background image with a text link next to it.
This worked fine in the previous version of wpdatatables, and still displays fine in the table. But the filter box encodes the HTML incorrectly - the image shows twice, so does the label (once as a link and once as text) and the escape character is encoded as text as well.
It does not matter if the filters are above the table or in the sidebar. They show incorrectly in the back end editor too.
How can this be fixed?

Hello Scrimpr,
My sincerest apologies for not responding on the Private ticket until now.
Please check my reply on the original ticket :https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/3612100/.
I will just write the summary here, in case if any other users come across the same issue.
This is definitelly a bug, which happens in our latest 6.2.1 wpDataTables.
We tested it on 6.1 version and there it does not happen.
Our developers isolated the bug, and they'll add it to their queue for fixing.
They will do their best to build a fix as soon as possible.
We don't have an ETA on when the fix will be available, but please keep a lookout on our wpDataTables changeLog.
It will be stated there during updates which bug fixes have been implemented at each update.
If any premium user needs an older wpDataTables version as a temporary solution until we release a fix for this bug;
please don't hesitate to open a new PRIVATE ticket where you will confirm your Purchase code and we can send you an older version installation there.
Once again, my sincere apologies it took so long to reply on the original ticket.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
