We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I need to update my Amelia Plugin subscription today or tomorrow preferably today.  The web developer who built my site purchased the first one and since then I have taken over the back end, so I am doing everything.

My question is do I deactivate and then reinstall the plugin when I update it? I am using a slightly different Zoom integration, so I need to work with it anyways.

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

When you purchase a new license you need to install it but you will not lose any current settings.

You can download Amelia from your profile in our store once you purchase a license.

We are sending you a short instruction on how to update Amelia to the latest version.

Go to Amelia Settings/Activation, and make sure that the "Delete Amelia content" slider is disabled.

Then, go to your Plugins section and deactivate the plugin. If you're using WordPress 5.8+, you'll be able to go to the Plugins section/Add New, and upload the file you previously downloaded.

When you upload the file, WordPress will inform you that you're replacing the plugin with the new version, so just confirm that. After the plugin is installed, activate it, and make sure to purge all cache from your website.

Hope this helps. After that when you have new question please open a separate ticket for each question in Amelia category with your new purchase code.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,

    Marko Davidovic [email protected]
