Hi,
How can I display a list of upcoming events using a shortcode?
For example, I want to display 3 upcoming events on my homepage, but I don't want to pick the events manually (i.e. the system should always display the upcoming events based on the current date).
I am a developer so if there is no direct support for this, please provide tips on how to query these events so I can build a custom shortcode.
Thanks
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
In general settings you have option called Default items per page for Frontend and you can set this to 3 like this
and then only 3 events should appear. This is what you can do automatically the other option is to give tags to specific events and then to show them via shortcode that you can find on this link
Amelia Shortcodes and Front-end Implementation
These are only 2 option that we can offer you at this time.
Hope this helps.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
