hello, how to integrate updates to the amelia extension on a wordpress site? Does the update erase the data saved in Amelia? Typically appointments already planned from Google calendar?
How to activate automatic updates? I integrated AMELIA on my client's site: https://www.survotrechemin.fr and I have the "Elite lifetime" option, but I don't know if with this formula the updates are done automatically and for life ?
The update won't erase the configuration or settings that are already configured. Make sure that the option "delete Amelia content" is disabled in Activation settings and you can safely update the license.
Automatic updates can enabled if you have a purchase code entered in the Activation settings. In this way, Amelia recognizes the purchase code and domain, but you also need to enable automatic updates in WordPress. If these two options are enabled, each time we release a new update, the notification will be visible in the Plugin section.
Thanks for your feedback. I checked and my activation code seems to be integrated into Amelia. However, when I go to the log of automatic updates that have been made on the site, I do not see Amelia. However, I received several updates by email to download
This also depends on the Wordpress settings. You would need to make sure that the automatic updates are enabled in WordPress. You can refer to this link for more information. We are familiar with the issue that sometimes automatic updates are not available in Plugin section, but when it comes to Amelia, you only need to enter the purchase code in the Activation settings.
There is now a problem with appointment reservation times. The change to summer time in France is programmed automatically on the WordPress site as well as on my client's Google calendar. However, each time customers reserve a slot after March 31 (date of the time change), the time is correct on Amelia, but on Google Calendar and in the email notification, the time is one hour later. offset. My client therefore finds herself with 2 blocked slots and an email confirmation with the wrong time. However, UTC is indeed the right one.
Apologies, when you have questions or issues that are not related to the title of the active ticket, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions that are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily. Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.
