First of all - I have read this article carefully: https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com//article/17665/ but this isn't an issue of wrong configuration from what I can see. Also all my times work fine in other scenarios.
Here's the problem: Notification mails will display wrong times when the event date is so far into the future that daylight savings time will be changed in the meantime.
To be precise, they will move to exactly one hour earlier. The Event times are displayed correctly in the booking form, the times will ONLY change in the notification email. So I can only assume this is because the event booked is in the future (e.g. August) after the daylight savings time will be changed but I am booking now (in March).
For example: My Event starts at 09:00 but in the email it will say 08:00.
So I guess technically the time THEN (when daylight savings has turned the clock backwards for 1 hour) would be what is NOW one hour earlier.
However this doesn't make any sense, since the Email is sent at the time of booking and customers will refer to this email for the information later. And that is also not how daylight savings time works in real life situations. You wouldn't expect anyone to account for this ever, people have to adjust their clocks and the times given are according to the number on the clock, not according to what that hour would be before.
Long story short: Please fix this so that the notification email shows the same exact time that is also shown on the booking form AT THE TIME OF THE BOOKING at all times. No need to account for daylight savings changes in the notification mail.
Unfortunately, we've had an issue with the placeholder time_zone sending the time in the UTC timezone instead of the WP timezone. This has been fixed with the Amelia 7.4.2 version.
If you haven't already updated to Amelia 7.4.2, please do so and it should be working properly.
