If you choose to "Add rows to current table data" via uploading the second Excel file;
The Data Structure needs to be the same/otherwise the table would break.
So it needs to have the same number of Coumns/same Header names, etc, as explained on the Documentation;
And we recommend to make a backup duplicate of your Manual Table before that step, for safety.
Then, you can add the third Sheet as Year 2022 - and you will have all the rows 'combined' in the same Manual table in the end.
After that, if you need to make a 'filter' for the Year; You can add a new Column in the Manual Table, and you can set each row with the corresponding Year, and so on... just an idea if you plan on doing something like that;
so you will be able to create/remove additional Columns on that Table type.
Let me know if that helps to achieve the goal and if you have any further questions.
I've one Excel sheet in my local machine and that Excel sheet has multiple worksheets like Year 2020, Year 2021, Year 2022 in a single Excel file.
So while importing the Excel sheet how can I import all the Worksheets of that Excel sheet into the WPDatatables plugin?
Hi Raghav,
Sorry to disappoint you, but we do not have any way to use multiple Tabs like that, when they are on the same Excel Sheet.
If you try to import this Data in an Editable Table, or to link the Excel to sync with a Table;
That Table is only going to pull the first Sheet tab and ignore the other tabs.
The only way to use multiple Tabs from a Sheet is if you move to using Google Sheets.
Then, you can make one Table from each Tab of your Sheet, because each Google Sheet Tab has its own unique URL.
With Excel, that is not possible.
2. But, there is another way - for example, if your goal is to just use all this data to import it into one table.
If you can 'separate' each Tab from your Excel and copy that in individual Excel Sheets;
then, you can import the first Tab as a new Manual Table.
Now, when this table is generated, you can upload another Excel Sheet as 'new rows' into it.
Just make sure to follow the instructions explained on this Documentation;
