Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Customizing Amelia for Dynamic Scheduling Across Multiple Locations

    Hello Amelia Support Team,

I am interested in utilizing the Amelia plugin for a medical practice that operates across three different locations. The scheduling needs are quite specific, and I'm hoping to understand if Amelia can be tailored to meet these requirements.

We are looking to dynamically manage appointments based on both location and time preferences. Specifically, we envision two key functionalities:

    1. Location-Based Time Selection: When a patient selects a specific location for their appointment, we want the plugin to automatically suggest the nearest available time slot at that location.
    2. Time-Based Location Suggestion: Conversely, if a patient chooses a preferred time, we want the plugin to recommend a location where an appointment is available closest to that chosen time.

Could you advise on the following:

    • Can Amelia be customized to offer this level of dynamic scheduling based on both time and location preferences?
    • Are there existing features within Amelia or potential add-ons that could facilitate this kind of scheduling logic?
    • If customization is required, could you provide any guidance on how this might be achieved or if your team offers support for such custom development?

Your insights will be invaluable in assessing whether Amelia can be adapted to our unique scheduling needs.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Best regards,

    Hello Ahmed,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't have the time for custom work in the near future.

But we can recommend this service for customization:

They do develop such solutions, so can you please send your inquiry to them?

    Kind Regards,
