Hi, I have a service for couples. I have set the service minimum and maximum capacity to "2". On the payments tab, in the summary, the verbiage says "x 1 person". This can be confusing for a customer.
Please update so verbiage reflects capacity. See attached.
This depends on the number of people that the appointment has been booked for. For example, if the customer only books the appointment for himself, the number 1 will be in the booking form. If the customer chooses more people to come with him, the booking form will show the pricing according to the number of people. By setting the maximum and minimum capacity you are just giving the option to the customer to choose more people until the minimum or maximum capacity is reached.
But the product is for couples. Therefore the number of clients will always be 2. It doesn't make sense for a client to add a +1 if they are buying a couple's service. And the pricing is based on two people.
The summary should always default to the minimum capacity of a service. That's why it's called a "minimum".
Apologies for the delayed answer. That's correct, if the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" is disabled in Appointment settings, then Amelia will calculate minimum capacity plus the customer is booking.
But, if i test it with these settings (minimum and maximum capacity set to 2) at the end, it displays the correct number of persons and pricing
It doesn't work for me for some reason. I have minimum and maximum set to 2. I'm trying with "Allow booking below minimum capacity" both enabled and disabled and it always shows "x 1 person". Is there some other setting that could be affecting this?
Were there any custom CSS changes in the backend? I suppose you are already using the latest version of Amelia? Perhaps, there is other plugin creating a conflict?
Sure, you can provide the wp-admin credentials here.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
This still doesn't make sense though. If the service is for a couple, it is by definition for 2 people. Couple = 2.
So, they should not have to answer if they are "bringing someone with you?". And if the minimum is set for 2, why does the customer have to add 1?
Also, the only way for the site to display "x 2 people" is to set the price to multiply times the number of people. But the price is already set for 2 people. Again, a couple.
It's the combination between the minimum and maximum capacity and appointment settings. For example, if you have a minimum capacity set to 2 and the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" is disabled in Appointment settings, then the number 1 will be already selected on the "bringing someone with you" window. This is because Amelia calculates the customer plus the number of people that are coming with the customer. The workaround is to hide the number with the CSS, of course.

This is exactly what I have. No CSS overrides on Amelia. I can give you an admin login if you want to look around.

Hello alex,
Thanks for the access. I can see that you've disabled the "Bringing someone with you" option. All good on my side if i enable it.
Perhaps you can try clearing the browser cookies / cache and WP cache?

I'm just going to hide that text with CSS.
