We're building a site where people book equipment, usually for a few days at a time, thought the period can be flexible (ie 1 day, 1 week, etc.). There is not fee to book - its for an internal system.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. Amelia is built for appointments and the longest appointment that you can set is 24 hours.
The plugin cannot be used for multi-day bookings. The best option is to use packages this way you can offer several packages 2 day package, 5 day, package, 7 day package, etc. This is not ideal solution but it the only that we have for this type of business. You can read more about packages on this link https://wpamelia.com/packages/.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Unlimited option is for duration of the package. To set how long time they have to use the entire package 6 months, 1 year, etc.
As for your time slots something is not set properly.
It can be any number of thisng
1. You perhaps set that service last 24 hours but your employee is working only 8 hours. Service work hours and days depend on employee work hours
2. You set to big buffer time for example. Budder time found in duration of the service so if service i 8 hours long and work hours are from 09 to 17 and if you add buffer time the this will 8+ hours so the time slots are not available, etc
In general it is for multiple appointments and Amelia is not designed for multi day booking.
But in theory you can set that service last 24 hours and that package contains 7 appointment and this way they can book the entire week. But this is not perfect scenario since as we mentioned Amelia was not designed for multy day booking but for appointments.
Hope this helps in some way.

Hi.
Looking for advice/best practice.

What would be the best way to implement this?
Thank you

Thank you.
It looks like there is an unlimited option for packages as well, that could work.
When I add the booking calendar in the front end the dates aren't selectable, could I be missing something?

Hi thanks, yeah, I sorted that out.
Is a package for multiple separate appointments, or can it be used for one long one?
I want them to be able to book for 2 days, 1 week, etc.
Thank you
