I have some seasonal services that are only available for booking from Jan until April 20th. I could find no easy way to program this so the services could not be booked after April 20th, so I tried using "Special days" in the employee menu, and set them to allow only 15 mins of booking time per day throughout the rest of the year opposite of that time frame for only those services, (so from April 21 - Dec 31 those employees only have 15 mins of booking time available per day for the seasonal services) but for some reason it applied to every service so nothing could be booked after April 20th. I tried reading through the docs and online forums, but could find nothing for this use case. Can you recommend a solution for this? Thank you!
Not sure what you want to achieve exactly and how your business work but we will try to help as best we can.
So you can set regular work hours for whole year for example
The availability of the service is defined by employees' working hours, so you would need to edit those in order to achieve this.
When you go to Amelia/Employees, and select that employee, go to the Work Hours tab. In there create several working periods. For example:
My employee would work on "Service 1" and "Service 2" from 08:00 - 10:30, on "Second" service from 10:30 - 15:30, and then again on "Service 1" and "Service 2" from 15:30 - 24:00.
You'd be adding these periods by clicking on the blue + sign next to the name of the day, in the top right.
Then you can create special days for additional seasonal service. But when you create special days those settings overrides the general work hours
So if you already have service A and B that also need to be available you need to create special day that will include all of them like this for example
You can see that we have 2 regular services and also seasonal service in our specials days and in that period of time all3 services are available for booking. You can read more about it on this link https://wpamelia.com/configuring-schedule/
Hope this helps.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Hello, thank you for this explanation, I followed what you said but either I made an error somewhere, or there is something wrong with the plugin. The problem I'm having now is that when I set 'special days' for employees for our service called 'easter animal visits' so that they are only bookable from 7am-8pm from March 1st - April 20th, for some reason other services are now also not bookable outside of that time frame, even though the 'special days' was set specifically for the east animal visits services only.

Hello again,
Special days override regular work hours so you need to include those services in special days also if you want to offer them at the same time
