Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
Hi there! I just installed Amelia and I'm trying to get it set up for the first time. There's no employees panel on the left hand side for me to set up an employee:
I've deactivated and reactivated the plugin, uninstalled and installed. No change. I've tried with multiple users on my site, all of which have "Admin" roles.
If I try the url directly: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpamelia-employees
I get the message "Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page."
Plugin version:
WordPress version: 6.4.3
Hosted on EasyWP.
Thank you!
Update, I went to a different WP site, hosted on Wordpress.com and installed plugin version 1.0.99. Same issue, the Employees panel doesn't appear.
Update, I created a brand new wordpress install, and chose a theme other than twenty-twenty-four. Then I installed Amelia. Same issue, I can't see the employees page or a link to it.
Another debugging step: I found the source for an older version of the plugin, 1.0.90, and installed that instead. Same problem, it still doesn't show the employees link.
Ahhh, this was very confusing. I finally found the problem:

There's no employees tab in the free version (which I'm getting set up to evaluate the plugin before purchase). Please improve your documentation or UI around this! I wasted a lot of time trying to debug how to add an employee, since inserting the form on a page just showed a messages like "add an employee and services to show the form".
Hello Murphy,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Also, thank you for your feedback and suggestion, glad to hear that you found the solution.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
