Let me give you a basic explanation of how Amelia works, to keep this short and simple. With Amelia, you can make a booking form which will give the option to your customers to book appointments for services that you create in the backend. This means that the customers can choose the timeslots for services (one or multiple appointments for services with the Cart feature) and then pay for them either on-site or using an online payment method. There is a Google Calendar sync and you can configure different rate (with some workarounds) Unfortunatelly, the option to add the pricing discount to additional hours is currently not available, but instead, there is an option called "extras". This will give the option to customers to choose extras with service for extra price.

Can you submit to your development team the idea of automatic discount when a customer books multiple rental hours? I think it could be useful for some users.
In the meantime, I'm afraid Amelia might not be the ideal tool for the mentioned project. Unless I'm mistaken, the "extras" will not block a slot in the calendar and therefore cannot be used to purchase additional hours.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
The "extras" feature itself will not block the timeslots since it can be used as an extra option for service. For example, you have a service 1 with a duration of 1h and you want to give the customers the option to choose 1h30 (extra 30 minutes) with different pricing. If the customer opts to book the timeslots then the timeslot will be marked as an appointment.
Reading your last paragraph, I understand that the "extras" feature may be suitable for offering extra hours at a reduced rate. I'll probably test Amelia and ask for a refund if the product really doesn't suit my use.
Here is how it works. When you create a service with a standard price, you go to the settings, select extras, and create an "extra" option, so something like this
On the booking from, when this service is selected, the customer will get the option to choose if he wants extras
The final price is service price + extras price
Of course, feel free to test it out yourself and see if it fits your needs.
Thank you for this specific example. It could fit if the reservation of an extra does indeed block the corresponding slot.
In concrete terms, the goal for this project is to obtain a rental service offering 3 sailboats available at each slot:
- 3 x 4 slots in the morning at 30€ each (if the person chooses more than one slot, additional slots go down to 15€) - 3 x 4 slots in the afternoon at 60€ each (if the person chooses more than one slot, additional slots go down to 30€)
Which Amelia plan (Standard, Pro, Elite) would you recommend for this? What's the difference with Amelia available on CodeCanyon?
Perhaps, there is a misunderstanding. The customer can only choose multiple appointments (more than one timeslot) if he uses the Cart feature. If he chooses multiple appointments (timeslots) for multiple services, the price will not be reduced. The customer will pay the full price for each appointment that he chooses, so there is no option to reduce the pricing if there are two or more appointments selected. The "extras" feature will add the cost to the final pricing if the customer chooses extra option.
Hello, is Amelia the right tool for a sailing club that wants to offer 3 sailboats for rent by the hour?

Thank you in advance.
