When I try to book an event or appointment I get the following error on the cart page:
"You cannot add zero priced products to the cart."
I have no idea why this is - I've tried deleting the "Appointment" product, changing the Amelia settings back to default and re-configuring the WooCommerce options.
I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
The price for the WooCoomerce product is probably configured to 0 and thus is not creating a connection between the WooCoomerce product and Amelia. For a certain WooCoomerce product, you want to make sure that the pricing is configured properly and also assigned in service settings.
In WooCoomerce settings, there is an option "Hide WooCommerce cart when price is 0" as well. This will skip the cart if the price is zero.
Okay so I'm really confused now. So I changed the price of my WooCommerce product (that Amelia automatically created) to £1. Now I can proceed to the basket but I see the Subtotal of £1 in the basket... what can I do to fix this? The product price surely is dynamic based on the Amelia event or appointment price?
This site was supposed to be live already and the Amelia configuration is now the main thing holding us up... if you can provide a solution soon that would be very much appreciated.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

Please accept my apologies for the delayed answer. Certainly, the subtotal price should follow Amelia service price regardless of the WooCoomerce price, it's dynamic. I've tested the same function, and the subtotal follows the pricing
I'm using the latest version of Amelia, i cant see the Plugin sections in your WP but i suppose that you also have the latest version. That leads us to a potential conflict with other plugins. I see that you can a different checkout/cart. Is this coming from the third-party plugin or? Perhaps there is an option that can be enabled for subtotal? Certainly, you can leave Amelia enabled, along with the WooComerce, and see if the issue persists.
Regarding the Google Calendar, i would kindly ask you to open a new ticket since it is much easier for us to find the ticket and provide assistance accordingly.
Thanks for your reply. So can you confirm if in your setup you have given the WooCommerce product a price or not? If I deactivate all other plugins and leave the product with no price (as it was when Amelia created it) I get the error "Sorry, this product cannot be purchased."
You should be able to see plugins now. If you activate "White Label CMS" you will lose access.
Also can you clarify what you mean by this: "I see that you can a different checkout/cart. Is this coming from the third-party plugin or?"
Yes, it turns out the £1 subtotal showing was due to another plugin, Extra Product Options. However my query remains: should the Amelia products be priced at zero as they are when Amelia generates them or do they need a price in order to work? It's unclear at the moment since the documentation doesn't say they need a price, but currently if I don't give them a price I still get the error "You cannot add zero priced products to the cart".
Looks like the issue is coming from "Extra Product Options" plugin. There is this option enabled.
By default, there is no option for zero prices products that can be enabled in WooCoomerce, and while the Amelia products can have a pricing of 0, those prices will be automatically changed when it goes to WooCoomerce Cart. The only thing that is important is that the Amelia product pricing can't have an empty field. Please try with this option disabled.

Hello Henry,
After troubleshooting, we have found out that the issue with the subtotal has been fixed.
Have you cleared the cache after changing the product?
