When booking appointments and unchecking the "notify the customer" box, customers are still being notified - why is this?

Thanks for reaching out to us.
If you uncheck this option only for a certain appointment, the customers won't be notified only for that appointment. But if the option "Notify the customer(s) by default"is enabled, they will be notified about the others.

Only the customers the appointment is booked for. So, if you create a new appointment and select customers, there is this option
It shouldn't notified the customer about this appointment.
