We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Diagram does not plot although table exists

Hi, I´ve been using wpdatatables since many years. Now, all of a sudden, it seems that diagrams do not plot anymore although the underlying tables do exist. I have installed wpdatatables anew, still the error persists.
It looks to me as if the charting part cannot read the table identified by the given id.
I have attached a screenshot showing both the existing underlying table as well as the empty selection box when building the diagram.
My website ranks #1 on Googlem, therefore I would be glad if you could look at this issue soon.
    Best regards

    Gerhard Frischholz

I purchased wpdatatables on 10/03/2015 with purchase code f566e26c-b41f-4c99-8c48-8b74129e3322 via Envato

    Hello,

Can you confirm which Chart Engine are you using?

If you use HighCharts, and if you have WP Rocket installed for some Website Optimizations+Cache, currently there is a conflict, but we have a solution.

Our developers helped us isolate the issue and here is how you can fix this.

Please first disable this option in our Plugin settings/'Use stable HighChart version'.

Then, go into your WP Rocket settings and find this section: "File optimization ( Optimize CSS & JS)".

In Excluded Javascript Files, insert "code.highcharts.com/", as on this screenshot :

After that, the issue should be fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

If you don't manage to solve it from your end, we can do this for you.

If you need us to do this, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your website where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials just set the reply to PRIVATE, so that nobody can see them except us.

And point me to the Chart ID, please.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović

    Dear Milos,

I´m so grateful for this advice! This did indeed solve the problem. I was actually using WP Rocket, but had no clue that it was this plugin that caused the issue.

I followed all the steps you described and all the charts showed up again!

    Thank you so much!!!

    Best regards
