We have a feature request for display buffer times in admin schedule view
Currently, Amelia allows us to set buffer times before and/or after services, which is a fantastic feature for ensuring that there is adequate preparation and downtime between appointments. This is crucial for maintaining a smooth and efficient operation. However, these buffer times are not visible in the admin's schedule view. This omission can lead to misunderstandings and scheduling challenges, as the actual availability and spacing between appointments are not accurately reflected.
Benefits of Implementing This Feature:
Enhanced Clarity: Having buffer times displayed in the admin schedule view would offer a clear and comprehensive understanding of the day's layout, including actual service times and necessary breaks/preparation periods. Improved Scheduling Accuracy: It would aid in preventing overbooking or scheduling appointments too close to each other, as the visual representation of buffer times would make it easier to see available slots. Increased Efficiency: By visually representing the entire schedule, including buffer times, administrators can more efficiently manage their time and resources, leading to a smoother operation and enhanced customer satisfaction. Better Resource Management: For businesses that involve multiple professionals or resources, seeing buffer times can help in allocating these resources more effectively, ensuring that there is sufficient transition time between appointments.
