First of all, make sure that the mail settings are correct. We recommend using the SMTP protocol for mail settings since it's the most convenient one and it has been confirmed that it's working. You can find instructions on this link on how to configure it.
You also need to make sure that the notifications template are turned on. For example, depending on the booking status, the template will be triggered (approved, pending, canceled) and etc. If the mail settings are correct, each time the customers books an appointment, the customer and the employee assigned to that service will get a notification (email).
My client has issues with the reception of mails, despite the SMTP protocol activation.
Generally she receives the notification by mail, but sometimes not. A few days ago, she didn't receive anything and a customer showed up for her lesson while my client was not on site. This is a recurrent issue that causes trouble to her activity.
Are you aware of this issue? Could you please tell me how to fix that?
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website and see what's going on.
I've checked the SMTP configurations, everything looks good. The PHP version of OVH for this website is 7.4.
The thing that I find weird is that I receive all notifications of the customers (as I set my email address in cc in Amelia notifications settings), but sometimes I don't receive the one of the employee (my client). When this case arrives, she is not receiving it aswell. And we both use OVH as our email provider.
So for example, yesterday someone booked a class on the website. I've received the notification of the customer. And my client and I did not receive the notification for the employee.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thanks for the credentials. Strange, but i'm getting the opposite. The emails are sent to the employee, but not the customer. I've changed the port and SMTP secure, but even If I try both configurations, it's the same.
I would need to investigate this a bit more with developers and get back to you as soon as I have the feedback.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Hi,
I don't receive any notifications when the clients book an appointment thanks to a package, directly in their customer panel.
What should I do to get these notifications?
Cheers,
Sacha

Thank you Stefan for your feedback.
Indeed this is quiet strange because I always received the customer's notifications as I am in cc.
I'm waiting for you to come back to me!
Cheers,
Sacha
