I'm using the plugin for a coworking space. It provides a total of 8 desks. These desks are available on a daily or weekly basis. Sometimes clients book for a longer period, 1 month for example. That is why I would like to be able to add such bookings manually through the "Add appointment" option in the backend. However, when I try do to that I bump into an issue. Having in mind that I have 1 employee assigned to this service and his working hours are from 8 am till 6 pm I get to the following situation:
I add customer 1 - for the dates - Jan 25th, 2024 - March 31st, 2024.
When I add customer 2 for the dates - Feb 1st, 2024 - April 30th, 2024 the Amelia plugin allows me to add customer 2 for the hours after 6pm. I don't want that.
If I go to Feb 1st of the existing booking of customer 1 and try to add another customer to it, Amelia allows me to add this only for the selected date and does not allow me to add a recurring appointment, which means that I have to add customer 2 manually for every day till April 30th. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something?
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Amelia is not built for multy day booking but you try and offer packages of service. You can read more about it on this link https://wpamelia.com/packages/
As for your issue I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what you want to achieve exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots?
Amelia works like this You can either have 1 employee that will work on a service that is group services and it has capacity of 8 people in your case desks.
Then if your employee is working on this service from 09 to 17 as soon as first customer books you can add 7 more to that appointment or 7 more customers can book the same time slot.
Hope this helps in case it does not please send us a shower one minute video of what you are trying to achieve to see if this is possible to set in Amelia or not.
The issue here is that you are trying to book new appointment over the existing one and that is not possible. Since your appointments are group appointments you just need to edit the existing one and to add this new user to that appointment.
You just need to click on that appointment
And then to add new user to that appointment
You are clicking on new appointment and that is why you see all other time slots that are available only for new bookings but you need to edit exiting booking since this time slot was booked already.
This should help.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
